“Black Beauty’s Debut” is an expressive fingerstyle guitar piece in Drop-D tuning, composed and performed on the Ibanez Jon Gomm Signature JGM10 BSN – a guitar that fulfilled a long-held dream of mine last year.
The piece blends rhythmic energy with melodic depth, showcasing the tonal richness of my “Black Beauty” in a striking way.
Perfect for anyone who loves emotional, handcrafted guitar music.
By the way, the piece is also available in the download shop – feel free to check it out!

That really was a bit of a milestone — on January 29, I dislocated and fractured my left elbow in a fall.
University hospital, physiotherapy, and a lot of patience. Playing guitar was, of course, out of the question for a while.
Some weeks have passed since then, and I’m incredibly grateful that my fingers are working again — and that playing the guitar feels good once more.
The recording of A Brighter Tomorrow was actually made before the accident, but it only received its title afterwards. For me personally, it’s closely tied to that milestone. Still, especially in these turbulent times, it can be interpreted in many different ways.
Sheet music and TABS are available in the download shop.

This recording was made during the annual festival of the Youth Music School in Oberrotweil, on March 17, 2024.
It has become a wonderful tradition that, to perform three pieces at the final concert - bringing together students and teachers from all instrumental classes.
This year, one of the selected pieces was Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World.”
I had the honor of writing the arrangement for it, and I’m proud that the video of the performance has been online since March 24.
The performance itself was a real joy, and I’m deeply grateful to all the singers and instrumentalists who took part.
Armin Freund, who handled the sound engineering, had quite a challenge with this project — and in the end, delivered an outstanding mix. A heartfelt thank-you to him as well, for his patience and composure throughout.
“Make a better world for you and for me,” — the song says - a call for all of us to stand up for a better world and not to lose hope in it.
Enjoy the video!
Feel free to check out my Spotify channel!

Father’s Day / Ascension Day on May 26 was recording day for our trio, ACOUSTIC DELIGHT.
At Musiclab Emmendingen, we recorded four beautiful, atmospheric videos.
With ACOUSTIC DELIGHT, we reinterpret classic rock and pop songs in a completely new light — Runaway by Bon Jovi, for instance, takes on a Latin feel, while Walking on Sunshine transforms into a swinging jazz tune.
You can now watch all four videos on our brand-new YouTube channel or on the video page.
A big thank-you once again to Jürgen Gocke, who worked with great professionalism both behind the camera and during the editing process.
More information is available on the ACOUSTIC DELIGHT page.

This song was written several years ago.
Now, at last, I’ve arranged it and recorded it with Lisa Marie on vocals. She brings exactly the expression and feeling the song needs.
Many thanks to her for that!
You can now listen to every single piece from this sheet music collection on the SHEET MUSIC page.
